About Us

Hi there!
We are Andrew and Sara Scott and we are the owners of The Knockout and Sweetheart's Bakery, both located in Norwood, Ontario.
Andrew has lived in Norwood all of his life and I moved here in 2016. Norwood is a beautiful community filled with incredible people and we couldn't be happier to call it home. We have three kids who attend the same school Andrew went to as a child, which is pretty amazing if you ask me!
Our businesses are side by side on the main street of Norwood, and when we say they are family owned and operated, we mean it! We are a husband and wife duo who fully support each other and are always there to lend a hand if one of us needs help. Our kids are almost always hanging out at the businesses as well, lending a hand, taste testing, or coming out for a chat!
In the bakery you will see my parents on a daily basis. I am so fortunate to have them here with me every day without fail. You'll see Dad behind the counter, packaging up your treats, making iced coffee or perhaps handing out some samples! Mom tends to stay a bit more behind the scenes but you've got to try one of her incredible Cheesy Garlic Pull-a-parts! She kneads each and every ball individually to make them extra fluffy and delicious!
Baking has always been something that I love to do. I love to create and baking has been the perfect outlet! I'm always experimenting and trying new things, that's what makes it so much fun! 
Andrew has had a love for cooking for as long as he can remember. When the opportunity to start his own take-out restaurant came up he jumped at the chance and we went all in on it. He quit his job of 20 years to instead pursue his dreams and I could not be prouder of him! He opened The Knockout in February of 2022 and he's never looked back! He makes the most delicious homemade burgers and his meatball recipe is the best you've ever tasted!
I opened the bakery in September of 2021. I had been baking out of my house for a few years and had built up a client base. Now, I am able to bake in my own commercial kitchen at the bakery and can do things on a much larger scale! 
The town of Norwood has been incredibly supportive and we are so proud to serve this amazing community!
